In Ajman, in the gas cylinder filling shop, one cylinder exploded, there are victims.
Five people were injured in an explosion at a gas cylinder filling company in Ajman on Friday.
All the victims are of Asian origin, one of them was sent to the hospital of Sheikh Khalifa with serious injuries, the rest was helped on the spot.
The Ajman Civil Defense Service received reports of an explosion at about 3:30 p.m., after which ambulance brigades, firefighters and rescuers were sent to the scene.
According to the statement of the responsible officer, captain Ali Al Marzuki, the explosion most likely occurred when the workers attached a tag to one of the cylinders while heating it.
The explosion resulted in the ignition of seven other cylinders.
After firefighters managed to eliminate the fire, the blast case was referred to the police for further investigation.
Mr. Al Marzuki urged all those who have gas cylinders to observe safety measures, keep them away from heat sources, use only specially designed tools for work and observe safety precautions.
