It is planned that the UAE space probe will travel 60 million kilometers in nine months, and its arrival on Mars will coincide with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UAE state. The program will be led by Emirate experts.

As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, specified, a specially created UAE Space Agency will oversee all space research projects.
