Dubai will build the first Middle East Legoland

Dubai announces plans to build the seventh Legoland theme park in the world. The project is part of the preparations for Expo 2020, and is being implemented to support the growth of the Dubai tourism sector. Legoland will be part of Dubai Parks and Resorts' larger infrastructure project.

The state-owned company Meeras Holding announced that design work began in February, and the first stage should be completed by 2016. In addition to Legoland, the amusement park complex will include Hollywood and Bollywood theme parks, a shopping center and hotels. Meeras is currently in talks with banks to increase the project budget to US $ 4 billion.
