Coral gardens will appear in the Emirates

The world's largest coral gardens will appear in the emirate of Fujairah.

Dubai, UAE. The world's largest artificial coral reef called The Fujairah Cultured Coral Reef Gardens, with an area of ​​60 football fields, will be cultivated in the Gulf of Oman, on the coast of the Emirate of Fujairah.

The corresponding agreement was signed between the Ministry of Climate and Environment Change of the UAE and the Fujairah Adventure Center, which was established in 2017 to develop outdoor activities in the emirate.

The reef area will be 300 thousand square meters; over the next five years, the reef will be inhabited by 1.5 million corals. The project aims both at preserving marine life and increasing the fish population, as well as attracting divers and nature lovers from the UAE and from abroad.
