UAE Foreign Ministry: The daughter of the ruler of Dubai is alive and at home with his family

UAE authorities issued an official statement on the whereabouts of Sheikh Latifah, daughter of the ruler of Dubai.

Dubai, UAE. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued an official statement regarding Her Highness Sheikh Latifah Bint Muhammad Al Maktoum, daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, known in the media as the “missing Princess” .

The statement said: “On December 21, the UAE Embassy in Geneva sent an official communique to the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The communique rejects all false accusations and provides evidence that Sheikh Latif lives with her family in her home in Dubai.

At the family’s request, on December 15, 2018, Mary Robinson, the former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, met with Sheikh Latifa in Dubai. Later in the media, photos of their joint lunch and conversation were distributed. Mary Robinson made sure that the daughter of the UAE Prime Minister receives all the necessary care and support.
