Dubai Airport warmly greets billionth passenger

Dubai International Airport warmly welcomed the billionth passenger.

Dubai, UAE. Billionth passenger arrived at Dubai International Airport on December 20: 9-year-old Arjun, who flew with his family on EK220 flight from Orlando (USA), was met by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, head of the Emirates Group.

Arjun first arrived in Dubai for a vacation with his parents and older brother. To choose the lucky one, the airport administration used its passenger flow forecast service, and then contacted Emirates Airline, which selected the passenger using random number generation.

During their stay in Dubai, the family stayed at the Atlantis The Palm resort and will visit the main attractions of the emirate, including the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, as well as go on a desert safari.
