Dubai unveils map of fridges with free food for Ramadan.
Dubai, UAE. Dozens of refrigerators with free food for the poor have been installed in Dubai - volunteers have published a map on the network showing their locations. Refrigerators will be open from today, May 15th.
The project has been implemented in the emirate since 2016. This year 88 refrigerators with products were installed, in the past there were 170 of them. Basically, they are used by immigrants working at construction sites.
They can take juices, milk, kefir, sodas, fruits and packaged food from them. The initiative group Ramadan Sharing Fridges invites everyone to join the initiative and add their refrigerator to the map.
