Following Europe and Russia, the Telegram messenger stopped working in the United Arab Emirates

Telegram messenger has become unavailable for residents of the United Arab Emirates.

Telegram users in the United Arab Emirates, following the residents of Russia and Europe, reported problems connecting to the popular messenger.

At the same time, for most users of the Telegram mobile application, the status "Connection ..." is displayed at the top of the screen, messages are not sent.

Earlier news agencies wrote about the fall of Telegram in Egypt, Kuwait, as well as in Central American El Salvador.

According to downdetector.com, at 9:30 a.m. (Moscow time), Telegram also does not work in Asia (Kazakhstan), the Middle East (Lebanon, Iraq, Iran) and Africa (Ghana, South Africa), as well as in most European countries and in the USA.

At three o’clock in the morning on April 29, the creator of the messenger Pavel Durov announced on Twitter that Telegram users in Europe may have difficulty connecting with the server over the next few hours.

"The massive overheating in one of the Telegram server clusters may cause some connection problems for European users over the next few hours," he wrote, adding that this problem is already being solved.

Judging by the information on his Twitter profile, Pavel Durov himself is now in the United Arab Emirates.
