Abu Dhabi University sets world record

The University of Abu Dhabi set a new world record in honor of the Year of Zayed in the UAE.

The University of Abu Dhabi, together with the organization Knowledge Group (KG), entered their names in the Guinness Book of Records. They managed to assemble the world's largest mosaic of laptops. The mosaic depicts the logo of the Year of Zayed in the UAE.

The record action also coincided with the National Reading Month in the UAE, celebrated annually in March.

It is worth noting that this record is only part of the university’s events dedicated to the Year of Zayed. University representatives invited delegates to the Guinness Book of Records to fix the record. A special ceremony was organized on the main campus of the educational institution. The ceremony was attended by Ali Saeed bin Humeid Al Daheri, the head of the board of the University of Abu Dhabi. Representatives of the Guinness World Records Committee officially witnessed the achievement.

The mosaic laid out from laptops was the first such achievement of the university. In total, the composition consisted of 25 thousand laptops, and the area of ​​such a work of art was 702.82 square meters. m. After the end of the action, all laptops were distributed to people in need.
