In May of this year, a floating market will open in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. In May this year, in Dubai, on the Al Seef embankment, a floating market called BeYouLand will open. It will be assembled from 17 traditional boats (abra) and will be located on the promenade of Dubai Bay, on the shores of Bur Dubai. The author of the project is a major Dubai developer Meraas.
From the boats they will sell a wide range of consumer goods of local and international brands, as well as food and drinks. Each boat will be equipped with a changing room and air conditioning. The market operator will be the same company that now operates kiosks on Kite Beach.
Al Seef seafront is a newly opened 1.8 km promenade that houses shops, restaurants and food stalls. It is expected that in the first year of operation, its throughput will amount to 9 million tourists.
