Dubai police unveils transport plan for December 31

First of all, everyone who wants to watch a laser show at the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa skyscraper - is recommended to arrive in the Downtown Dubai area no later than 18.00.

Festive events in downtown Dubai will be served by nine police patrols and six more support groups. In addition, 23 first-aid tents with the inscription Dubai Police, 190 ambulances will be on duty.

Starting from 22.00, the Burj Khalifa metro station will be closed. Mohammad Bin Rashid Boulevard and Financial Center Street will also be partially blocked. Starting at 8 p.m., taxis will not be allowed in the Downtown area. Three routes will be allocated for pedestrians, including the pedestrian promenade of the Dubai Canal.

There will be 4 parking lots for 4000 seats for spectators: one near the Al Wasl Club, one near the Jafiliya metro station, near the Dubai Canal and in the Mankhool area, and 177 shuttle buses from Zabeel Park, Al Wasl Club and Dubai World Trade Center to The Dubai Mall. It is expected that this night the center of Dubai will receive 1.5 million people.
