The publication of the book “Time For Emirates: The History of the Wristwatch From the Sundial to the Tourbillon” was originally conceived by the Swiss company Time for SA, represented in the UAE by project manager Heinz Hayman. With the full support of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Deputy Chairman Abdul Hamied Siddiki, Hayman made his dream come true. The result of the joint work was the "Bronze Award" Dubai International Print Award 2009, established by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The luxurious desktop format book, written by the famous writer Gisbert L. Brunner and consisting of 321 pages, tells about the 400-year history of the creation and development of watches. One of the first copies of the book “Time for Emirates” was personally donated by Mr. Siddiqui to the library of the exclusive Dubai club Capital Club.
