On December 19, 2010, Yury Vasilievich Golovin, full member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts (PANI), Department of Industry and Finance, arrived on an official visit from St. Petersburg to Dubai.
As part of the visit, Mr. Golovin met with the Presidium of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, presented diplomas and certificates of corresponding members of the PANI to its members and confirmed the intention of the Academy leadership to officially open the regional branch of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts in the UAE. The first corresponding members of PANI in the UAE were:
Igor Egorov, chairman of the RSP; Sergey Tokarev, Secretary General of the RSP; Alexander Kutukov and Elena Olkhovskaya, members of the Presidency of the RSP in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. After the ceremonial presentation of diplomas and certificates, Yu. V. Golovin read out the congratulations to the first vice president of the PANI Rusakov, Yuri Mikhailovich.
Then we all together discussed a wide range of issues related to the fields of business, science, education and culture, aimed at developing relations between Russia and the UAE, as well as improving the business environment in the UAE for Russian businessmen, and outlined plans for further joint work of PANI and RSP .
