The largest paintball park in the Middle East opens in Sharjah

The largest paintball park in the Middle East opened its doors in Sharjah for visitors, with three outdoor and two indoor playgrounds. The opening ceremony of the largest Middle East paintball park, held on August 17 at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club, was honored by Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Thani, chairman of the Sharjah Civil Aviation Authority and Air Arabia, as well as Sheikh Mohammed bahn Abdullah Al Thani.

Open paintball fields on the territory of the Sharjah shooting club have been known to fans of this game for a long time. The highlight was the commissioning of a new two-story building for a paintball park with two indoor playgrounds.

On the ground floor of the building, stylized as an interior of the barracks, there is a reception desk, an armory, a cafe of the Grab'N'Go brand, a specialized store that sells paintball accessories, men's and women's locker rooms, showers, lockers and instruction rooms. On the second floor there are two “battle” playing fields, which have a completely new concept for the UAE.

The first field is a reproduction of a section of one of London's streets. It has real cars - city taxi and Rolls Royce, creating a unique and special atmosphere of the British capital. In addition, there is also a copy of a small section of the famous Hyde Park and models of other famous London attractions, including the famous Harrods department store, The Ritz Hotel and several others. To complete the view on London's paintball “street”, authentic advertising signs are hung, red telephone booths, lampposts and mailboxes brought from the UK are placed. Entrance to the battlefield is through the open doors of a copy of the London Underground car, which stopped at Knightsbridge Station. The field is equipped with a powerful sound system, ultraviolet lamps for night gaming sessions.

The second “battlefield” is decorated for the bank’s premises and will be used to conduct games in another concept for the UAE called “Close Quarter Combat”. The room for this fight looks like an office of a real bank - with desks for bank clerks, computers, safes, ATMs and bank vaults.

Thanks to the numerous video cameras installed on the playing field, not only the park staff can see everything happening on the screens of the monitoring system monitors, but also the audience - with the help of projectors that display the image on the walls in the waiting room.

In addition, there are three open playing fields in the Sharjah paintball park, which have no analogues in the UAE, with airplanes, jeeps, bunkers and high towers.
