April 6-7 this year in Dubai for the fifth time will be held the festival of team rowing with boats with the head and tail of the Dragon Dragon Boat Festival. The event will be held at Festival Marina Bay in the Dubai Festival City area.

During the dragon regatta, the Belgian Garden Cafe beer bar will be open at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City, which will offer visitors a wide range of drinks and snacks. The main festival party will be held in a cafe in the evening, April 6th.
It should be noted that the history of racing on the "dragon" boats, which began in China, has more than 2 thousand years. The boat is a canoe for 20 seats, decorated with the head and tail of a dragon. Competitions are held among male, female and mixed teams at distances of 200, 500, 1000 and 2000 meters. This year, the competition is particularly symbolic, because according to the eastern calendar, it is Dragon that protects this period of time.
